About Me

To all who come to this happy place....

Welcome! I'm Diane, a lifelong Disney fan and I've always wanted a place to share my thoughts on Disney history, magic, and experiences from Marceline all the way to Main Street USA. I am from St. Louis, Missouri, only a few hours away from Marceline, where Walt spent his childhood. I have planned countless trips for families making their first trip to the parks, but what I really love is learning and sharing how to make it new, even when you've been there dozens of times.

Magical Beginnings

My first Disney trip was in 1974 and I've been living my life with Disney ever since... dozens of trips, movies, music, books, clothing, jewelry, you name it. I even spent seven magical years as a Cast Member/Disney Store Manager. I always manage to bring some pixie dust into my daily life to get me through until my next trip!

Magical Moments

I have visited Disney historical sites in Marceline, Kansas City, Chicago, Disney World, Disneyland, Walt's Apartment at Disneyland, The Walt Disney Studios, The Walt Disney Archives, Walt's home in Los Feliz, and most importantly, the Carousel in Griffith Park where the idea of Disneyland began. I even met Julie Andrews and shook hands with Roy E. Disney. Amazing!
